Cyprus to Aegina
From Cyprus we will be sailing to Crete and then to Aegina,leisurely exploring some of the Cyclades and the Peloponnese depending of where we wish to go and what the wind says... (600/700 NM).
We sail a bit everyday dependant on the wind and the weather and then we find a good anchorage or a great little harbour where we can enjoy a really cold beer and a Mezze. If we like where we are we might decide to stay longer...who knows! The plans are not set in stones.
I am now looking for 1 person to complete our crew of 4 who want an adventure on the sea, hopefully with some sailing experience (even limited), resourceful, strong, with a good sense of life and a love of boats and the sea.
Thomasvaer sits low on the water, it is safe and comfortable and whilst it is not a full inclusive luxury cruise it makes for an enjoyable sailing adventure on a classic yacht in beautiful waters. Regarding expenses :
All expenses directly related to the boat are paid by myself, that includes harbour/marina fees, fuel, repairs, insurance, well all costs...as for the rest (mainly food on board and loo rolls) we do all contribute. Last year it worked out at approx 75 Euros per week each and when eating out depending on circumstances, we might invite each other, or get invited, simply share or I might just invite you!
I like to think that we really respect the sea, the wind and the people that we meet on our travels. Easy going and prudent, we are no racers (although we try sometimes!) but before all we love a good time on the sea.
