Recreational or Professional ?

Dear potential crew,
It is important that you understand the scope of my activities, which are plural. I am a professional skipper and I also have my own sailboat that I can move as I wish and as part of my program. It is a basis for life but it also allows me to organize charters and training courses on request. As a professional skipper, I am also called upon to make deliveries or work as a captain for private third parties or charter companies. I am open to all levels but your experience and diplomas will have to be adapted to the programme envisaged and the requirements of the regulations in force. That is why, for some contracts, I am looking for qualified, experienced and competent professionals, paid. When possible, I am also in favour of welcoming less experienced crew members as long as they want to pursue a career at sea, the conditions are negotiable. Finally, for those who simply want to gain experience or have holydays, who are attracted by a cruise or a crossing, a decent contribution to the costs is required...

My yacht, solid and comfortable, is ready to go everywhere and her captain is experienced, qualified and efficient in navigation and maintenance. I come from South Pacific (New Caledonia) and I appreciate nature, simplicity and authenticity. I like to sail with my kids as much as possible and then program is more like discover remote places, quiets anchorages, wilderness, fishing, diving, snorkeling, surfing, climbing... We don't like artificial life, cities, marinas, queuing, crowded beaches, supermarkets, mosquitoes...
The yacht is now in Brittany, on the west coast of France. The return schedule to the Pacific is not fixed yet and there is no hurry. A lot to see first around the Atlantic. Sailing in Europe first : I may decide to return in Scotland and further north, to have a look in Greece, then the plan may be to sail to West Africa, (the Bijagos and Cape Verde) then Caribbean (Bahamas, Cuba,...) sometime...

Please note that in order to be able to apply for job offers for which a team captain/hostess is required, I would certainly be in favour of a female team member.
The same reasoning applies to the choice of a first mate to assist me on board my yacht.
Please also note that I cannot answer all of you in detail, but be sure that I have read your profile and will contact you if necessary.
