Circumnavigation, Exploration, Research

Hi folks,
April 23, 2019

Just a quick update of profile. Heading down the coast of Baja first weeks of May then up into the Sea of Cortez for the Summer. Will be practicing celestial navigation, taking radiation samples, and recording geoengineering spraying activites during trip.

Two old salts doing a west tack past Isla Guadalupe then a East tack past Cabo and on to mainland. From there, either south to So. America or west to So. Pacific. Ultimately, to circumnavigate. Me, a Masters Degreed self employed environmental consultant with significant sailing and marine repair experience. Into traveling, laughing, diving, natural healing, and enjoying life. Tom, 88 year old with even more experience, needing to make at least one more adventure sail. Bluewater double ender outfitted for ocean voyages. Currently slipped in Ensenada Mexico.

Will be leaving Ensenada Mexico around May and headed to Sea of Cortez. Looking for 1 additional member who is able (or interested in learning) sailing, boat maintenance, navigation (both electronic and old world) and travel. Opportunity to learn sailing, maintenance and repair, celestial Navigation, and use of Open CPN. Other interests include researching reefs and fisheries including effects of radioactivity and pollution.

Ladies encouraged with the caveat that we are both real gentleman.

Possible departure for So. Pacific March 2020.

Photos of myself, crew Tom and boat with a beautiful new bottom job.
