Boat descriptionWhy Not has a water maker, generator (9.5 kVA), Ford 6 cylinder 2715 E rebuilt, inverter / charger, refrigeration, all new condition. Sat phone, Inreach, SSB, VHF, Raymarine marine electronics suite, auto pilot. Sailing gear is near new (2 years ago), furling genoa (Dacron), furling yankee and staysail (an a self tacking track) out of Dynema (Spectre), 4 slab reef main. Hydraulic steering, hard top with hatch, electric genoa winches. Inflatable, two sea kyaks, dive compressor and some gear but best to bring your own snorkeling gear. Trip is a hard sail to Red Sea, stopping in Sri Lanka to provision and then pick up security team (armed) to sail onboard to the Red Sea. 8 man life raft (Cat 1), all safety gear but best bring your own sleeping bag and wet weather gear although I have some spare. We sailed from NZ last June via Fiji, New Caladonia, Cairns up through the barrier reef and round the top to Darwin. Entered Indo via Kupang (West Timor) then Komodo, Rinca, Bali, Karimun Jawa and onto Nongsa Point Batam exiting Indo onto Malaysia, up the Malacca Straits to Phuket. Back down to Johor (in a marina near Singapore) where we will depart in the New year. Needing two (2) crew, must have some sailing experience blue water and can take a watch. We will have six (6) including me Chris the owner skipper. Expect the trip to be about six (6) weeks from Johor up to Langkawi, a bit of maintenance, provisioning and then circa 1 week to Sri Langka and onto the Red Sea. I'm hoping for no action what so ever but Noon Site states there has been a little bit of pirate activity so my security team are going to take care of us .... No dreamers, war hero's or macho's please, no intention to get into a shoot out but taking the cautionary side to protect the boat and crew. Thanks, Chris
