Sail the West Indies

Sailing vessel NO STRESS is on a purely recreational journey, providing a home and a traveling platform for his live aboard Captain Alex and different crews since 2016.

Our next trip takes us from Saint Martin to the Dominican Republic. You may want to join for this trip or a longer period of time. No STRESS will stay in the Caribbean for the rest of the year.

In winter 20/21, we will tour Tobago, Surinam, Guyana and Trinidad.

Later 2022 we sail to Panama and do the Pacific.

To cover the cost of the boat, I ask for a weekly fee and cost sharing for all cost including food / beverages / diesel /dinghy gas, marinas, permits, immigration. The boat is set up to be sailed single handed and this is what I do sometimes. You may participate in sailing based on your interested level and skills, but you definitively will be participating actively to make our trip a great experience for everyone on board thanks to your positive and open attitude.

  • Boat descriptionNO STRESS onboard comfort is unmatched thanks to it's 4 coolers, 100l/h watermaker, 2 electric toilets, 2 inside- 1 outside shower, washing machine, dryer, A/C, electrical davits e.g. The AMEL 54 is a legendary offshore cruiser, very easy and comfortable to sail and very safe. It is equipped with everything necessary for a safe sailing experience. A truly oceangoing yacht. NO STRESS has a 110HP Volvo diesel engine and a 15HP, 11ft Highfield inflatable on board. Thanks to a 900l diesel tank, a very quiet generator and a 1000l water tank it is an ideal platform to sail remote destinations. We also have a dive compressor, 4 diving tanks, 3 fishing rods, and a grill on board.

Knowledgeable skipper, well-maintained yacht

Skipper Alex is a knowledgeable captain who maintains his Amel 54 with care and precision. As crew, I found sv NoStress to be tidy, clean, and well-maintained — sheets, rigging, sails, decks, hull, canvas, and instrumentation reflect a considerable investment in care and materials. -- sv NoStress is designed to meet all weather conditions and ensure safe diving and sailing.
