The Chef/Stew/Crew position for our 2025 charter season in wilderness Southeast Alaska has been filled..., however, we are continuing to accept applications in ongoing efforts to build a strong short list of qualified candidates in case of emergency or to fill in for the remainder of the season and/or future consideration. This is a professional offer and an excellent opportunity for the perfect applicant to further hone their seafood culinary skills and enjoy working with the abundance of super fresh catch of the day. The position requires moderate to high levels of cooking ability (life experience welcomed!), solid hospitality and organizational skills, along with a natural passion for food service. We want to hire that special candidate dedicated to one's personal best by taking on the challenges of boat life/food service/crewing, with eagerness and enthusiasm! Excellent health and positive people skills are a must! Love of nature, adventure capable, a tolerance of spectacular scenery and interests in wildlife encounters required. d:)
The weekly group size includes the Captain, cook/stew/crew (one person), and generally 4 guests (+Captain/Crew makes 6 persons) to shop groceries prepare meals, serve, then stew for. Crew duties include maintaining the galley and interior of the vessel, assisting with setting n pulling shrimp pots and docking the vessel, along with minor deck cleaning duties. This is a non-smoking, drug free vessel that requires 100% compliance with US Coast Guard Regulations. The application review is a process to determine the best candidate for the chef/stew/crew position, along with establishing a secondary list for back up/emergency and/or future consideration and we will accept applications at any time, however, the sooner the better.
