Stew/Deck - Temporary / Seasonal - Min exp 2 years - General (Europe)
Seasonal Stew/Deck position on 27m Private Use Motor Yacht. Based in Eastern Mediterranean. Due to current arrangements, position is suitable for male, EU citizens only (or with ability to move/work freely within EU), strictly non-smokers.
About the Boat: The boat is family owned and used extensively throughout the summer by different family members and their guests. The boat travels around Cyprus pre and post season and spends the summer in Greece. Run to a high standard and requires someone who can meet this standard and do so for the entire season.
Job Description: Stew/Deck who will be solely responsible for maintaining the interior as well as the exterior together with captain. Strong housekeeping and hosting skills required. Directly involved with all mooring and anchoring procedures as well as tender driving. Watch duties during long passages. The position is suited for someone who has experience but willing to consider individuals with prior experience on land and/or recreational boating. Season is from last week April till end of October. Potential for extending post season till end of year or permanent position offer for suitable candidate subject to agreement.
Min Requirements: ENG1, STCW, PBII and 1 year’s (season) experience in similar position. Driving License. Subject to Covid-19 testing and strong adherence to prevention protocols and guidelines as may be determined by owner.
Given that it is a family boat, need someone friendly and good around kids who is willing to go above and beyond the basic expectations of working on yachts.
