Sailing on a ketch catamaran
I have lived and sailed on my catamaran since 2005, and hope to be able to continue for many more years.
My world travels began in the Adriatic and since then I have explored many countries and places. Now in New Caledonia, I have sailed almost 40,000 nautical miles.
But I don`t want to experience and explore future destinations in the Pacific or Indian oceans alone... rather, with a loving and equally youthful partner who would like to experience this together with me. You should love to travel the world by sea, want to explore new countries, and not have any problems with sea sickness or being on the open seas in this special type of life, living and being on a boat 24/7. You should be financially independent and be in good health, non-smoker, stay fit and eat healthfully.
In the upcoming years I hope to sail in French Polynesia, Micronesia, and Indonesia. Also, at some point, we might be back in Southern European waters, either to stay or to begin again and cross the Atlantic with a westbound heading. Then there comes a time when one needs to move back on land. My apartment on the Croatian coast would be a lovely location to spend our later years together. Or, it might also be that we find ourselves in a tropical climate with fresh sea air in a comfortable location.
My philosophy is: "don`t dream your life, live your dream"
Incidently, on longer journeys I like to have support, and also you are welcome to join if you`d simply like to enjoy a special type of vacation.
Over these many years, I have sailed over 40,000 nautical miles and have gained a lot of experience.
On my 14,7m (47 ft) ketch catamaran, I could always count on being able to handle any and all situations. This is thanks to my constant attention to upkeep and maintenance.
