Cruising from Puerto Penasco, Mexico to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

**Joining as crew you must be comfortable being included in my blog (photos and posts)**

We will be departing Puerto Penasco October 2019. Here are the tentative dates for our trip:
Start – Puerto Penasco October 20
End – Puerto Vallarta December 20

The trip will be broken down into shorter segments that have lengths of 3 weeks to 8 weeks, I will post the start and end for each section once scheduling is determined.

I am looking for fun, energetic people who enjoy being active and have a quest for adventure. When aboard I love sailing out to private anchorages, snorkeling, interacting with locals, swimming, hiking, and exploring.

  • Boat descriptionStrikhedonia is a 2008 Seawind 1160 Catamaran which is 41’ long and draws only 3’9” of water with three foot sugar scoop extensions. Since its launch, the 1160 has won Australian Sailboat of the Year and sold close to 400 boats around the world due to its superior use of space and outstanding performance attributes. The Seawind 1160 creatively blends key concepts of other popular Seawind models to create a design that successfully combines the huge living space and all round visibility of the Seawind 1000, with the sleeping accommodation, luxurious fitout and security of the lockable Saloon featured on the Seawind 1200. We have outfitted her with an eye to making her comfortable and fast. The sail plan includes; Full battened Mainsail, Furling Jib (roller furler, self tacking), North Sails Screecher (continuous line furler), Asymmetric spinnaker

Experience of a lifetime

5

I have sailed with Chris for part of the last two seasons, April May and Oct Nov 2019, both have been amazing experiences. Strikhedonia an 1160 Seawind is an incredible vessel kept in impeccable shape. Chris is an incredibly talented and safe sailor. Both trips will be cherished as a n experience of a lifetime for me. I consider Chris a good friend and thank him for allowing me the opportunity to sail with him.

Incredible Experience!

5

Great Captain and gorgeous Catamaran. I had an incredible experience this spring on the Sea of Cortez. I felt totally safe the whole time. Chris was willing to teach about sailing and also just as happy to let you do your own thing. We visited some beautiful locations and had a lovely time. Highly recommended. I hope to do it again in the future!
