In any case, If you can see your selfs contributing and joining our crew, no matter of destination , please drop me a line
please read on , because we are always open for suggestions and projects that involve Dona Catharina in future expedition .

Our 60foot steel ketch, the Dona Catharina has made a name for her self in the last years. Plenty successful expeditions and a the rescue of a shipwrecked crew has made international headlines. ( just type Dona Catharina Expeditions into your search engine to find out more) . We are calling for film makers, research projects, scientists or explorers divers hikers and adventurers. We operate on a non profit, but true cost sharing basis

Plan A
Not sure now if we can achieve this, as we do not want to pose any risk to our friends on the islands, but......
Our Mission for the 2020 pacific voyage (ETD 18/08/2020) is the revisit of a unique tiny Island in the vastness of the South Pacific Ocean. Our arrival is awaited and welcomed by the chiefs of this Island, and we will not come empty handed but have a part solution on board for a health and hygiene problem, as been discussed with the chiefs.
But this visit to this special place is only one of the highlights of our 2020 voyage. From NZ our voyage will bring us several pacific dream destinations, and along this voyage we will be revisiting and refreshing friendships forged . . There are several opportunities to board or disembark along our route.
If you are interested in a cultural experience, or an ocean crossing under sail , and better even if you can see your self contributing along the themes of our previous voyages, we would love to hear from you early so we can plan together. ( only two bunks left for the first part of our voyage. 3 bunks available for the return sail to NZ)
(ETA NZ end of November2020)

in Addition , we are always looking forward to plan a voyage with a purpose and we are looking for your input as an individual or as a group. Preferred sailing area is within 2000 miles of New Zealand . Please contact us with your ideas and budget The vessel will then sail to where you want to go.
We offer a safe vessel, equiped with dive compressor, kayaks, 2 tenders, surfboard, water maker, crows nest lookout , and are happy to install what your expedition may need
.. Sorry, we can not subsidise someone’s holidays or afford to offer free rides for hitchhikers .
