2025 Update - Thailand Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Seychelles
Unfortunately there have been various delays and departure has had to be delayed until November at the earliest. I hope to leave Thailand from Krabi or Phuket or Ranong in November for Sri Lanka and then for Seychelles. I have one or 2 places available for crew with some experience who are able to keep a night watch.
The final destination is Madagascar.
Costs - We will share the costs of the trip This includes food, fuel, local fees and other consumable items including routine repair consumables. The costs for the trip are impossible to estimate at
this stage.
Aims and Aspirations - We will be continuing to sail in the more adventurous, interesting and off the beaten track spots. We aim to find those out of the way places and interact with the local culture as much as possible, avoiding those over crowded tourist spots.
We are not for everyone - especially if you are a strict vegetarian or only like western food, prefer visiting tourist resorts, really need to be plugged into your smart phone continually or if you are on a very tight budget, you probably will not be happy. For example we expect to buy and eat the best quality fresh food available but of course this is not as expensive as Europe and we are not extravagant either.

Langkawi and Back
Our first time sailing couldn´t have been better! Mark is as experienced as it gets and the Meniscus of Gweek is oldschool beauty. There's plenty to do and we learned a lot. Luckily, Mark is a patient teacher and on top of that a fantastic chef. If you have the chance to go sailing on board the Meniscus, please tell the Gremlins we said hi!
