Cook - Permanent - United Kingdom
Looking for a cook to work onboard our charter vessel St Hilda from April to October 2019. St Hilda explores the Scottish Hebrides and cruises vary between 5 and 11 nights. The cook must be able to prepare tasty meals every day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon cake, dinner). 48 hours between cruises - cleaning or preparing the cabins is NOT required.
KEY roles and responsibilities:
- preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea/coffee in morning and afternoon for up to 8 people (6 guests, 2 crew)
- keeping the galley and surrounding areas clean at all times
- being polite with guests
- sticking to the budget
- provisioning between cruises (48 hours)
- some deck work such as helping the skipper with anchoring and mooring
Must have National Insurance number.
Must have medical certificate and food safety and hygiene level 2.
