Pamela Cruising

I’m looking for an enthusiastic crew. Age is not an issue. Crew should have some experience but it’s not an exact requirement. Compatibility and an enthusiastic willingness to learn are more important.
Running expenses should be shared by all crew, ie. food, fuel etc.

Fantastic adventure

I was fortunate enough to be invited onto Pamela for a trip from Almerimar to Gran Canaria in December 2019 an 840 mile none stop trip. The boat is stunning and very well equipped The owner Eamon is incredibly experienced and such a gentleman in every sense of the word the trip wasn’t without incident and Eamon’s calm and cool response was hugely reassuring to a relative novice such as me. Can’t thank him enough!

I sailed as crew with Eamon Crosbie on his Discovery 55 "Pamela" for three weeks during August, 2019. We sailed from Las Palmas to Madeira, to the Azores and finally to Lisbon (Cascais) - altogether around 1650 nautical miles. Eamon is an open-minded, highly experienced, respectful skipper and a gentleman. His boat is extremely well-equipped and orderly. Eamon dealt with technical problems on the boat as well as with issues relating to sailing and winds with calm professionalism. He is a very good cook and conversationalist and I wouldn't hesitate taking any opportunity to sail again with him, wherever he may want to go! Thank you, Eamon!!
