Explore the Islands and Estuaries of Atlantic France

The yacht is set up for single-handed sailing but I prefer sailing with company. You need know nothing about sailing, just that you like life afloat. I hope that you will participate fully with all activities. Under a watchful eye, you can experience all the navigation, pilotage, boat handling, and pretend skippering, you like. Not a lot of sea miles but good experience leaving and entering ports and anchorages. 2 folding bikes for exploring ashore. I try to keep on-board costs to a minimum (usually a share of marina, diesel and food aboard is expected). Travel and tourism costs ashore are down to you. I hope for somebody that is pleasant, sensible, speaks sufficient English, interesting, enthusiastic, intelligent, respectful, observant, and preferably a quick learner, (if these are all available in one person). I would prefer you come for the whole trip, but I will consider a shorter period.

I will launch from near Vannes on 14th June 2019. The yacht will winter ashore near Vannes about mid (date not fixed yet) September. I hope to visit most of the islands and estuaries of Atlantic France, including the islands of the Golfe du Morbihan, Belle île, île de Yeu, île d'Oléron, and my favourite, Île de Ré, as well as the rivers Odet and Vilaine, and also places like Quimper, the Carnac alignments, La Rochelle, La Roche Bernard, and Redon. However, you have an influence over events.

Any good ? All questions welcomed.
