Looking for crew to help sail from Langkawi to Japan
Looking for one or more crew for my trip from Langkawi Malaysia to Incheon Korea then the Japanese islands. The intended route will be from Langkawi to Jahor Bahru/Singapore, Tioman, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands, Incheon, Busan, Japan (Kyushu to Hokkaido). The dates are from first week in May to the end of 2019 or early 2020. After Korea and Japan I plan to cross the Pacific. (Update: departed Langkawi on May 6, passed Johor Bahru/Singapore on May 17, passed Tioman Island May 29, passed Anambas Islands June 5, arrived at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club June 21, arrived in Penghu Islands August 28, currently in Kaoshiung making repairs and upgrades before heading up the East Coast of Taiwan to the Ryukyus) Dates and itinerary are flexible and can change as needed. There should be enough time to go at a leisurely pace and spend time at select ports of call.
I am looking for people who can help sail and keep watch on longer passages. Some experience is preferred but if not experienced a desire to learn and a good attitude can be enough.
All costs of operating the boat will be paid by me the owner. Crew will be responsible for paying for their personal needs, travel to and from the boat, personal activities and a small contribution for shared food.
