Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - €3000/mth - Greece
Our agreed skipper for this coming season has just cancelled on us hence I am looking for a young-ish enthusiastic person to be based in Patmos Greece, where we have a house, for two months this summer to look after our boat and take us out on daily cruises and possibly one or two 2 to 3 day cruises.
The candidate should have some knowledge of the area if not specifically of Patmos, should be confident in handling a boat that size with limited help from myself ( basically incompetent !) and should help prepare light picnic type lunches and clear them , Keep the boat clean, watered, and refuelled.... prepared to go and do day shopping to make sure it is stocked with beverages ice and food with my or my wife’s help et cetera,.... basically have the boat ready for day trips from about midday to sunset... we are based in London and the ideal candidate should be available for an interview locally if possible.... however all other candidates will be considered…
Embarkation is in Patmos Dodecanese Greece and so is Debatcation....
I will pay for a ticket there and back from somewhere in Europe… But not from another continent.
I am looking for somebody who is good humour and good tempered and we can keep the boat on the ready every morning for day trips as per the description… Knowledge of Local waters would be helpful and either or both English or Italian should be spoken
