Looking for 1 or 2 crew for cruising. Vessel now in Pangkor Malaysia sailing to Phuket in July/August. Will be spending few months around the islands of Thailand while some refit work is carried out. October plan to sail to West Sumatra and Matawai Islands for surfing and diving. From there on no plan is the best plan, though world travels with no time restraints is the idea while avoiding winter anywhere.
My interests are health/fitness, surfing, music, scuba diving, spear fishing etc.
The yacht is an Amel Super Maramu, just like SV Delos only a newer version. Aircon, washing machine, water maker, dive compressor etc etc.
Non smoker, light drinker and no drugs. All expenses fuel, marinas, food etc covered except for your personal needs, shopping etc. Short or long term considered.
Update to update:
Due to unexpected delays my boat is still laying in Malaysia waiting on the new rigging to arrive from France which is now expected to arrive in the next few weeks. The boat will then go to Penang (Georgetown) for 6 - 8 weeks before moving to Phuket and then onto Mentawai Islands etc as originally planned.
The expected deal and delivery from Fremantle of the second Amel fell through and I am now on my way to New Zealand to hopefully finalise a deal on a different Amel. If this goes as planned delivery will be from Whangerai New Zealand to Phuket leaving in late Sept or early Oct. Positions will be available for 2 novice crew until Qld then possibly a third for the remainder of the trip.
