Live, Learn an Lounge
Looking to set sail the 3rd week of Dec. If you have mechanical, electrical, sailing or social media skills. You are what we need. First Gibraltar then Cape Verde with a possible stop in the Canaries. Then we wait for a weather window and on to Grenada. The only thing asked is you pay for your food, health insurance and immigration fees. That way you are quests and not paid crew and makes life simpler at foreign ports
This is for those looking to travel. I'm sorry, it is not a job offer.
I have acquired an AMEL 54. I intend to clean and provision her for sailing with no destination in mind other than peace of mind. If, you want to be part of making a nomadic trip from point A to sandy beaches and remote atolls with serenity the ultimate goal. This is for you.
What I need is warm, kind, yearning, energetic people looking for the chance of a lifetime to be a part of the good, bad and every thing in between.
What would be helpful is if you are social media savvy also wanting to learn as I do, any and all aspects of maintaining such a beautiful boat, just Google Amel 54. You will fall in love at first site. You will be part of the decision making and yes cleaning, cooking with all around caring for the boat.
I will be responsible for the boat, fuel and safety equipment. we will work on a plan for some supplied clothing later such as shorts, shirts, rain gear etc.
Food divided equally between all, personal hygiene products and your personal immigration fees, are to be considered your only out-of-pocket costs. And if the boat generates any money, that would off set those expenses.
I think you get the gist of what I'm looking for. You need to love the boat and where it will drop anchor. The only strings attached are that you be happy, safe and comfortable.
Neat freaks with a yearning to learn. I don't care if you're 20 or 60 as long as you're ready for dropping yesterday for tomorrow.
