In the first place just looking for friendship

Hi all
Just joined and I'm hoping, in the first place, to meet some new people.
Bought a boat in2019 and I'm in the progress of renovation/upgrading it.
The boat is an Admiral 31, center cockpit full fiberglass boat.
My plans for the future are simple. Finish the boat (2/3 years), get it in the water and go sailing during my holidays, getting it further and further south, and with my retirement at the latest (in 10 yrs), cruise as much of the world as I can, full time.
If, by some idiocy, I win a lottery, I'll pack my bags straight away off course...

Little update...
The 2/3 years kinda went out the window with COVID confinement.
I hope everyone is safe.
I managed to strip the boat and getting ready to build her up again.
I lost a year due to confinement and bad weather
(Seems the weather gods like to weep when I'm off from work)
But slowly and surely I'm getting there...
