Interested in Rio Dulce, Belize, Mexico, Cuba towards NS?
Looking for able bodied crew for some, or part of the trip.
Female, some experience and some Spanish skills preferred, but not a must. -Skipper is definitely NOT a 'Harvey Weinstein' type.
"Gaia II" is a 30ft Pearson Coaster. Totally upgraded and well fitted out. Space is tight and there's no shower. Sailed 20.000nm in the Caribbean since 2008, mostly single handed. I like to have company though.
Expecting to spend two weeks getting ready in Rio Dulce. Then a leisurely cruise down the river, up to Placencia and then out to the Belize atolls. -Exploring, snorkeling. From Belize City I want to take a few days to go to Tikal in Guatemala "The Mother of Mayan temples".
Then it's off to Caye Caulker and up along the Yucatan to Isla Mujeres from where we set out for Havana where I will need a 'boat sitter' for a week. Then the NW Bahamas and up the Eastern Seaboard, either offshore or in the ICW depending on conditions.
We share common costs, provisions, fuel, harbour fees etc. Skipper looks after boat related expenses.
Need crew at least as far as Havana.
