We are looking for a United States Coast Guard certified Captain with a 100 ton, sail endorsed license. MUST BE A US CITIZEN and we will consider a couple working together. We are a owner/operated busy Maui based day charter, with two 65ft. 49 passenger state of the art sailing catamarans. The vessels operate from the beach at Kaanapali Maui Hawaii. The Hula Girl offers two excursions daily, and has the unique feature of a full licensed certified restaurant on board. There is also a Padi scuba program with dive compressor and gear onboard. The Shangri-La does private charters only with high rollers and corporate groups. Captain must have basic mechanical/electrical, trouble shooting, preventative maintenance and repair skills. Clean cut, drug free, and engaging personalities are a must. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE A US CITIZEN WITH A 100 TON SAIL ENDORSED USCG LICENSE. In addition we offer a one bedroom cottage on our beautiful property in West Maui, that can be negotiated as housing for the right person or a couple.

A mistrustful family
The owners are incredibly unprofessional and unsupported. Captain Harold was one of theilir best Captains until Covid hit. They would not re hire him for no reason at all. They had me come on as a chef, and I was disrespected and sexually harrased by their horribly rude chef that made up lies and got me fired after two days! They do not have a cabin for a couple either. How dare you Hula Girl- the way you treated us is your bad karma!
