Sailing Savant
THIS TRIP IS NOW POSTPONED UNTIL 2021. If you would like to be considered for next year get in touch....I have one more space to make up the 4th Person of our team to sail from UK to Portugal leaving first week of May. We (Debbie, Paul and I) will be sailing Savant my Beneteau Oceanis 411 celebration. She has three double cabins and two heads. AIS and Radar. I made this trip in October 2019 so am familiar with a Biscay crossing as is one of my crew.
You will need to hold a minimum of Competent Crew qualification.
We intend to stop briefly in France for a good weather window before crossing Biscay to N.Spain. We will then take a leisurely pace exploring the very pretty rivers and towns along the Coast like Combarro.
Arriving in Porto around mid may (If you need to get off there it will be possible) After this we will proceed to Cascais Lisbon no later than end of May. (another opportunity to get off) ....From the first of June to the 20th Savant will be around the general Lisbon area and there may be an opportunity to stay on up to the 20th June, but we can discuss this. On the 21st June I have a complete crew change.
On the passage we will share all food, drink and marina costs (normally we are all keen for a marina after a long trip) and after when exploring we mix up with Anchorages and marinas
