Join us for adventurous fun times on the island of Syros and on wards! We're setting the sails up on the 5th of September and will be exploring the islands of Cyclades for two weeks on Bavaria 49 sailing vessel.
On a side of sailing, other sun and fun activities include island exploring, beach time, swimming, paddle boarding, slack line practicing, yoga, snorkeling, cooking, enjoying good food and each others company. For a request you can also learn about sailing, navigation and boat handling. Boat is equipped for all activities mentioned.
You'll be sailing with friendly, and experienced crew; Fabian has years of skipper experience ans he is a RYA Yacht Master offshore. He has worked as a sailing teacher all around Europe, as well as charted boats and has also had a taste of racing on boats. When Fabian is not working, he is sailing around and living on his own boat. Fabian is passionate about sailing, teaching and sharing his maritime knowledge, and to mention, an amazing cook.
First mate on board, Jannika, has sailing experience around the Mediterranean sea. She is and outdoor and ocean enthusiastic, SSI dive master and snorkel instructor, free dive buddy and yoga instructor. She will happily take you out for a tour in the water as well as on land.
Jannika and Fabian have been working and sailing together for a while now. They're both fun loving people, having safety as a main priority on board. The team can't wait for sharing all travel stories and sailing with you!

Crew is expected to contribute 70EUR per day per person for covering the cost of the sailing vessel. Additional to this, there are food and marina expenses to be paid, luckily both in Greece are low costs and we try not to stay in marinas.

One of my best 2 weeks of sailing - Ever!
Joining Fabian (aka Knaii) and Jannika on board Sirius I was immediately made to feel welcome. He was always calm and relaxed, despite some of the challenges that he faced with the logistics of picking up and dropping of crew that were not on board for the full duration of the trip. Fabian has an incredible wealth of sailing experience, and was happy to patiently share this with the rest of us. He's also an excellent cook, the two of us even managed to make fish & chips for five on the boat! I learnt a huge amount during my time with Fabian, not least boat maintenance, had loads of fun with him, Jannika and the rest of the crew, and most of all, made a new friend. Thank You Fabian, I hope our plans to sail again together either later this year or early next work out. In the meantime, safe travels!
