Possibilities II was just moved from Chicago to downtown Fort Myers, Florida with everything in walking and rolling distance. She is a 1995 75 ft Darling motor yacht. Kind of like an aluminum Hatteras sportfish. We are doing a complete refit with all new electrical system including solar and 30 KW of Lifepo4 batteries (75%). Currently adding new sponsored 48v DC Vetus Maxwell Windlass and 250 ft of half inch Peerless ACCO anchor chain with a new anchor coming soon. We need help with aluminum welding, laying hardwood flooring, ceiling material, carpentry, and installing diesel polishing system and other mechanical improvements. We also added new nema 2000 Network which we need to finish with displays.
If you'd like to learn from a master, or are yourself a master and would love to work with a skilled colleague we want to hear from you! Also if you are local in Southwest Florida
Possibilities is a 1979 62' Pluckebaum Aluminum Motoryacht with a level-deck floorplan, and 30"+ wide doorways making it ideal for modification for wheelchair accessibility. She has twin 340 Hp Cummings diesels, 20kw diesel generators, and is nearly completely refit over past 3 years. We need to do a few finishing touches and start doing events on Charlotte Harbor out of Punta Gorda Florida
If you are skilled with tools, creative problem solving, are willing to learn to help handle lines, and able to work as a team/take direction, we need your help! Please note your skills/experience and hobbies/interests?
Possibilities has new inclusive joystick controls that also work for someone with mobility impairments to Captain her which we will be proving. These can be disengaged in 15-30 seconds and reverted to her traditional mechanical controls (where you come in). She is off-grid capable with a new 3kw solar hardtop, Lifepo4 Batteries, watermaker. Other various tasks that include carpentry, finishing some DC electrical, diesel engine maintenance. She will be pioneering INCLUSIVE adventure trips from Florida to Bahamas and up East Coast for adventurous of all abilities. She has completed 50% of America's Great Loop.

About Inclusive Adventures - Adventures are about the journey, not the destination.
We provide Life Changing Experiences for Uniquely Abled, Wheelchair Users and Non-Wheelers, Young @ Heart, and @ Risk Youth! Created by the Disabled for the Disabled ... or as we prefer ... by the Uniquely Able for the Differently Able.
Adventure offers us a freedom only achieved through overcoming challenges, and our fears. This newfound freedom of thought offers perspective throughout life, literally and measurably changing our lives as we add new skills while developing independence.
The journey itself contributes to every individual's personal development. You acquire new qualities, you become spiritually rich as you learn about culture, traditions, and history of various people living in other places and times. You begin to understand the why. This leads to an inclusive perspective on the ultimate similarities in all people, their goals, desires, and in that realization, differences become trivial details.
You should have a lust for adventure and open-minded, easy-going personality, with a desire to help others and improve the world. I have been designing and implementing modifications to the vessel to make it 100% wheelchair friendly (75% complete). I am a quadriplegic man who uses an electric power wheelchair after forced landing plane crash 15 years ago due to engine failure after takeoff. I have been designing and creating solutions to empower mobility impaired individuals through greater independence for the last 15 years including working with Veterans Administration and other orgs throughout the country.
Abuse of anything such as alcohol or drugs will not be tolerated.

Boat descriptionInclusive Adventures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. InclusiveInc.org A COMMUNITY IS STRENGTHENED BY EACH MEMBER'S CONTRIBUTIONS. INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES ARE STRONG COMMUNITIES. Mission: To empower all to contribute their talents to the best of their abilities. Give Perspective. Create Possibilities. Change a Life. Strengthen Community. We INSPIRE, MOTIVATE, AND EDUCATE THRU LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCES to stimulate a fundamental shift in perspective for both participants and the public from programmed, vulnerable dependency to confident, capable self-determination. Participants develop confidence in their capabilities and a perspective of possibility. Why would anyone try to achieve an education or contribute their talents through employment if they believe their only prospect is to sit in front of a television trapped in a nursing home or even their own home. We all need to believe in future possibilities worth striving to achieve. Participants learn new skills through the catalyst of adventure. Adventure offers us a sense freedom only achieved in overcoming challenges, perceived limitations, and our fears. This newfound freedom, powerfully shifts perspective to possibility - directly and measurably changing participant's lives, and their role in family and community. Adventures are about the Journey, Not the Destination. A journey involves personal development. A trip is from point A to point B. Wheelchair lift and ramps, roll-in shower, ceiling lift track for transfers from wheelchair to bed, new wheelchair-friendly galley, custom adaptive controls allow anyone to take the helm when cruising if they can drive a wheelchair even with head control only. Possibilities II is a 75' Aluminum Caribbean Capable Motor Yacht, being modified for 100% inclusive wheelchair-friendly access from aft cockpit to helm to the flybridge to the engine room. 100% Off-Grid Solar capable, including solar air conditioning. Can cruise America's Great Loop and the Caribbean. America's Great Loop is circumnavigating the Eastern continental United States and Canada over 6000 miles. We started by South from Louisville Kentucky on the Ohio River, then to the Tennessee River and the land between the Lakes, south through Alabama on the Tombigbee canal to Mobile Alabama, then New Orleans, and all of Florida. Next is East Coast of US past New York, up the Hudson to the Erie Canal, through the Great Lakes and Canadian heritage canals, to Chicago.
