With our beautiful motor sailing yacht Monte Christo 65 ft. steel ketch lying in the harbor of Flensburg (Northern Germany) directly by the central city of Flensburg, we are looking for a recreational crew member. We mainly do shorter tours in local waters of Flensborg, Kiel and local surroundings. Might that be interesting for you? Looking for somebody who could join practically now and enjoy the summer with us. Talking about a period of some six weeks or more and occasional continuation. Looking for people with sailing experience, technical skills, engines, electrical systems...

  • Boat descriptionMonte Christo is a custom-built 62-foot steel ketch (Fellowship design), originally launched in 1993 and thoroughly renovated in Denmark between 2007 and 2011, with continuous upgrades to the present day. Powered by two new Perkins 135 HP engines, the ship offers excellent manoeuvrability and control. Modern technology meets classic elegance, with safety prioritized in every detail. The interior reflects timeless craftsmanship, featuring noble teak finishes, authentic design elements, and generous living space. The layout includes four cabins with seven berths, two bathrooms (each with toilet and shower), and a spacious saloon with a well-equipped galley and ample seating. Sails are operated via professional electric furling systems, enabling smooth and effortless handling. With a shallow draft of just 1.60 meters and a double keel, Monte Christo is ideal for coastal cruising and inland waters. Dual helms offer both an indoor wheelhouse for all-weather comfort and an open-air helm for traditional sailing. Additional features include a 4-meter Valiant dinghy, a generous bathing platform, and extensive safety equipment. Altogether, Monte Christo is a unique, semi-professional yacht with a timeless design - safe, elegant, and perfectly suited for comfortable life on board.
