Free boarding and a little help

From May 19, 2025 I will be in Lefkada to prepare the boat: cleaning, replacing the mainsail and anchor chain. Transfer to Corfu for 2 weeks from May 31, then back to Lefkada until the end of July. In August I have to skipper catamarans, we can plan later. Until the end of July a place on the boat is safe!!

  • Boat descriptionIn 2018, 4 friends with a passion for nature and life in the open air, driven by the enthusiasm of one of them (Leo our captain), decided to buy what is now our "Pathfinder" boat. Stopped in a marina near Monfalcone for two years, Pathfinder was put back in the water after some refurbishment and refitting works in May 2018 and from Monfalcone, sailed all along the Italian Adriatic coast, up to Greece, where the last year it hosted several people for one / two week cruises in the beautiful archipelago of the Ionian Greek Islands in July and August. Pathfinder, a name that reflects the spirit of its captain Leo and his 3 friends (Luca, Lucio and Massimo), is a wonderful 48 foot VIVA Alaver. Designed by Alfeo Scattolin with the intent of creating a real "ocean racer" with a cruising interior, without sacrificing performance. The volumes are distributed over a considerable flotation (m.12) which, associated with a good width, allows a lot of elasticity in the distribution of the loads. This feature, often overlooked, is instead fundamental for a boat designed for different needs, from racing to long-range cruising. This boat proved to be particularly reliable in strong wind conditions. The displacement is 10 tons with a 4 ton ballast. Anyone who appreciates the vintage taste of solid wood interiors compared to the typical plasticoni of charter boats will be satisfied. Sailing is a pleasure to sail, it is fast and stable, it suffers little from the sea thanks to the powerful keel (2.7m fishing). The teak deck ensures a good seal in all conditions. The dislocation of the rooms is as follows: in the bow there is a large cabin with 4 seats on two levels, going aft there are two bathrooms, a double cabin on the left and a single cabin on the starboard side, a large dinette with a kitchen equipped with 3 sinks and a stove and oven, fridge, chart table, at the stern on the left wide double cabin, on the starboard room for the skipper. Tender with outboard USB sockets Fridge Kitchen with oven Photovoltaic system Wind power plant GPS navigator, autopilot, Depth, vhf radio, Epirb, lifeboat Outdoor / indoor shower Outdoor table and awning Sheets and towels (on request)
