Stew/Deck - Temporary / Seasonal - Spain
M/Y Ducking n Diving is a 72ft, 4 cabin, Princess moored in Altea on the Costa Blanca.
We are a young family of 4 seeking an experienced Steward and / or Deckhand for approx. 8 weeks as we cruise Southern Spain and the Balearics, returning to Altea on or around 28th August.
Predominantly it will be the family of 4 on board, but there will be guests throughout the 8 week period.
Previous experience is required.
Stewardess:-
• General hostess duties required, light catering, breakfast, light lunches and refreshments.
• Housekeeping: heads n beds, kitchen, main salon and laundry.
• Provisioning.
• Assisting deckhand when required.
Deckhand:-
• Support required to the owner / captain during navigation.
• Deck hand duties included docking skills, fender set-ups, heaving, lines, mooring warps, windlasses, anchoring, gypsies, capstans, tender driving, and set-up of water toys.
• Inside & outside duties, cleaning, sailing, serving meals & drinks, laundry etc.
• Assisting stewardess when required.
Although the above positions have been separated for the purposes of this advert. We expect both successful candidates to operate as a team ensuring all duties are covered.
We are looking for team players, but equally persons that will recognise when to allow the family time to themselves.
Competitive Package, negotiated based on individual experience.
