We regularly see an abundance of wildlife – including whales, seals, sea lions, porpoises, bears, eagles, and more – while going to amazing events like the Seafair Air and Sea show.

- Assisting with service providers
- Operating & cleaning tender
- Ensuring guest safety
- Anchor/windlass operations & maintenance
- Maintaining and servicing the systems
- Setup and store sunshades as needed
- Orienting other crew for charters

- Fill freshwater tanks
- Clean generator heat exchangers

- Possible dives (if interested & certified)

- Turning over rooms after guests leave
- Kitchen cleaning
- Support for meal service during charters
- Carpet cleaning & vacuuming
- Onboarding & storing supplies
- Ordering supplies & swag as needed
We do have some charters during the year, and you’d serve as the primary point person on this, along with the Captain, as you’ll know the yacht and related systems extremely well.
Charter duties include:
- Charter prep, cleaning, & décor setup
- Ensuring guest safety
- Assisting with food service
- Training other crew members
When not on the journey, the yacht is docked in fresh water on Lake Union, which is very close to downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, the Seattle Center, the University of Washington, and other areas of interest. The exclusive marina is designed for superyachts and is very secure.
This can be either a full-time year-round or seasonal role, and we’re fine with time for off-season travels to work on other yachts for deliveries, charters, or other positions.
We also offer the option of living aboard to save you money. The crew quarters are both spacious and modern and includes Wi-Fi both at the dock and underway, a tv with streaming services, microwave, gourmet coffee, refrigerator, washer and dryer, luxury bedding and bath linens and towels. Of course, you’re also more than welcome to use the other areas of the yacht while knowing that you do have a private place to retreat when you want. The home port marina has free parking.
Finally, the owners are both welcoming and down to earth, and are fine sharing these amazing life experiences with you and others. We don’t view this as a role where you just work while remaining in the shadows but rather one that shares in the experiences with them.
Skills Needed to be Successful
• US citizen required
• STCW required
• Prior superyacht / yacht crew and charter crew experience, including systems maintenance
• Able Seaman or higher strongly preferred, or with enough experience to pass the test and get licensed as one (we’re willing to assist with this if needed)

• Good organizational skills

• We offer paid time off a year for a full-time role, and there’s no cost if you live aboard,
• We cover many expenses, such as some clothing and food to Wi-Fi, to minimize your living costs
• Opportunity to earn more during charters
• Finally, we’re willing to pay for your training, from diving to captain’s license courses, as we believe in both investing in your career and building knowledge to stay safe.
