Become a part of a crew and learn together the traditional way of traveling with the wind. Our trainings program is special designed for adventure seekers with no experience in sailing. On BOMAMA we work in a team. No autopilot, no winches with the lifestyle of rockstars.

We are a privateer with the focus on traditional sailing and autonomous living of the grid. On board you learn all disciplines of the traditional seamanship. Safety, security, watch keeping, Sail and rigg handling, logbook and many more skills will be trained.
Start your journey in the river of The Gambia, Visite Dakar the capital of Western Africa and be ready for a 2-3 weeks transatlantic voyage to Martinique.

This journey is ONLY for real people. To sail a Tallship like BOMAMA in a crew of max. 15 members is a unique and different experience to other vessels. We are focus on the individual experiences for everyone and the project #keephersailing. (Keep alive our 111 year old ship)
