Flexible on Location: Looking for a Competent Crew, Racing Crew, Mile building or Friendship position
Hello there,
My name is Jason, I hold an open-sea sailing diploma issued from a nautical club in Athens, Greece (Nautical Club of Vari-Varkiza -https://www.naovv.gr/istioploia-anoixtis-thalassis/-, class of Takis Vamialis -http://www.skipper.gr/-) in 2008. Apart from that I have sailed in a couple of daily races in the Saronic gulf around Athens with my instructor's brother up to 2010, then again in mid to late 2019 on weekends, when I found myself in Boston, USA, at the Piers Park Sailing Center, participating in taking amputees out for short sailing trips. More recently, I sailed along the Lower Lands' shore and across the English channel with a crew I found from this platform in a four-day trip in September 2024.
Importantly regarding a crew, I am disciplined, easy going, neat and clean. Otherwise, I am not a smoker and I drink only socially and lightly. Physical condition: pretty fit and into sports.
My goal is to refresh my sailing skills, extend my knowledge and connect with people over life at sea over short sailing trips (ranging over a few days -up to around a week). I'd be happy to share expenses involved in the trips and needless to say, I am prepared to do my part in the chores and any task on deck the captain sees fit. In terms of meeting location and sailing route, I'm pretty much open to anywhere around Europe.

I have also tried windsurfing twice in the past for a few days, which I enjoyed very much but unfortunately I could never afford when available.
