Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship position; Mile Building
I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in cruising experiences as a Novice Crew or Competent Crew and am looking for adventure and mile building! I’m a very accomplished, energetic, healthy, fit and active 64 year old male (feel and function like 45!), I eat anything (except maybe lutefisk..). Expect me to be honest, hard working, organized, clean and tidy, thrifty, adaptable, and work well under stress. You will be amazed that I’m very mechanical and can fix just about anything, I’m a very quick learner. I’m just looking for new experiences and to create more friendships with quality people.
I enjoy being on the water, I've owned a runabout for 15 years and I really learned a lot from a sailing class some years ago. I’m not high-stress, I don't smoke and not a druggie or mental case, I drink but am NOT a drunk. I like good food and I’m not a bad cook. I’m not afraid of work or challenges. I do have experience captaining motorhomes/caravans/RVs on holidays for over 20 years. When RVing these days I mostly ‘live off the land’ so I understand water and electricity resource management/efficiency, solar systems, computers and networking, etc.
Looking to HAVING FUN, great experiences and meet new people! Obviously willing to contribute and pay my way! And my schedule is flexible.
