Looking for a Competent Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work, 1st Mate position or boatsitting
Hi, I'm interested in finding a position as crew on a sailboat from Portugal to the canaries in the end of December.
I love the ocean and adventure. I crossed the Atlantic ocean in january '24 and I have sailed for a few months around the Caribbean as 1st mate after that.
I'm an avid kitesurfer and would be out on the water daily if I could. I love boardsports (all of them really) and dancing (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba) and I love Apnea Freediving.
I'm a seasoned traveller and if I had the choice, I'd both have a house in the mountains as well as at sea. Unfortunately I can't afford that so I have none of the above ;).
I adapt quickly to new situations, learn fast and work hard. I'm very flexible and keen to learn new things. I'm quite handy with tools, having built my own campervan and done renovations on my house in the past.
