Looking for a Competent Crew, Novice Crew or Mile building position
English lady, living in Canada for 20 years. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew, Novice Crew or Mile building. I'm looking forward to meeting some new sailors.
I’m a fairly new sailor, I took a cruise and learn out of Victoria BC, Canada, 4 years ago and I was hooked from the moment we first put up the sails. I knew I’d found my home. Then Covid hit. Post Covid I was invited to crew on a 36’ Beneteau, moored in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. We’ve been out many times for a week or two each time. Most recently was September ‘24. We took a trip around some of the southern Gulf Islands, on the Salish Sea, for 10 days. I can’t get enough of it. My mileage is from coastal sailing, I’d really like to expand my horizons and get some blue water experience. I am able & willing to participate in every aspect of cruising: watches, provisioning, navigation, cleaning etc.
