Novice Sailor who crossed the Atlantic twice (East-West & West-East)
Hello fellow Sailors
I crossed the Atlantic from Las Palmas to Antigua by sail in November 2024. In 2026 i joined a delivery from Antigua to Greece by sail again.
I'm looking for an opportunity to keep on sailing, no matter the conditions, as long as there is a sail and friendly crew/skipper. I don't have any certifications Anyhow, I understand boat life, the lines, the basics of sailing, the sails and taking care to have a good atmosphere on the ship :)
I am a hands-on guy, and will do anything to contribute to a good and safe trip (watches, cooking, cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, learning). I can stick with all rules.
About myself:
I think I am a friendly, helping and caring guy. 35 years of age. I'm happy to be social and having nice non-BS discussions. But i sometimes do need some time for myself, where i would listen to music and try to sort my thoughts. Beeing currently intentionally unemployed, my background is in mechanical engineering, data science and IT, at least that is what i studied some time ago.
