Deckhand/New Skipper/Mechanic position
Hi, I'm looking to take the first steps into sailing as a profession. I've had several weeks at sea recreationally over the past few years and have recently completed the RYA day skipper course with a UK based trainer. I'm an aircraft engineer by trade so have good mechanical hand skills and knowledge, but have not yet worked yachts in a professional capacity.
I have 3 months off between June and August 2025 and i'm looking for some opportunities to build my experience. I'm not workshy or proud, I have absolutely no objections to scrubbing decks, I'm cheerful, proactive, tidy, and enthusiastic.
