Hi, I’m Carsten – a curious soul with a strong love for the sea.
Former art consultant on cruise ships, now full-time traveler, always looking for meaningful experiences and new horizons.
I earned my coastal boating license (Sportbootführerschein See, Germany) at the beginning of this year and have basic sailing skills. I’m eager to keep learning and happy to help out wherever needed on board – at the helm, trimming sails, or cooking a shared meal.
People often describe me as calm, reliable, thoughtful, and easy to get along with. I enjoy deep conversations just as much as peaceful moments under sail. I travel light but bring a lot of presence, good energy, and team spirit.
I’m looking for opportunities to join sailing trips (short or long), ideally with skippers or crews who enjoy sharing knowledge. Whether it’s island hopping, a relaxed coastal trip, or an offshore passage – I’m open and flexible.
My favorite country’s have been Greenland and Seychelles.
