Looking for a Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
I aim to secure a position as a deckhand or deck/stew. I would be suitable for this role due to my ability to work under pressure whilst completing tasks to excellent standards. I suit working collaboratively in a team due to my strong communication skills, but also independently on tasks due to my competency in following instructions which is desirable in the demanding and dynamic environments on superyachts which require proactivity. I have years experience working as a deckhand and deck/stew on charter yachts and I am looking to pursue this further.
I have always had an appreciation and respect for the sea from growing up around my parents boats and personally owning a 7m RIB for the past 4 years. I like to spend my free time boating with family around the Isle of Wight and The Solent in the UK, and in the South of France around Cannes during the summers.
