Looking for Mile building, Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Friendship: I want to learn to sail and navigate

I've just joined Crewbay. I want to learn how to sail and navigate, so I'm looking for a position as a Mile building, Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Friendship. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I have some experience about weather, since I work on air pollution in a regional weather service. But I don't know if my knowledge is useful for sailing.. I don't know much about navigation, but I'm confident that I can learn quickly (and I would like to).
I usually adapt well and I'm quite flexible. I don't smoke and I drink very few.
