I am a 32-year-old South African and former Special Forces soldier with 11 years of military service, now pursuing a career at sea. I hold my full STCW (PDSD, PST, EFA, Fire Fighting, PSSR), RYA Powerboat Level 2, and Deckhand Certificate, and I am eager to apply my discipline, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the maritime world.
While new to yachting, I bring proven reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic from my military background. I am confident assisting on deck, handling small craft, and supporting the crew with a safety-first mindset. I take pride in doing even the small tasks well and am motivated to learn quickly from experienced seafarers.
