Looking for a Competent Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work or Deckhand position
Hey there, I’m Elisa (23),
Currently traveling full-time through Europe and Morocco in our self-built campervan with my boyfriend Hannes while studying Business Psychology remotely.
Vanlife taught me patience, problem-solving, and how to stay calm when things go wrong. I’ve learned how to feel at home even when everything around us changes and how to work as a team.
Now I’m ready for a new challenge: sailing! I just have been sailing for 4 weeks, but I’m eager to learn more and I am not afraid of getting wet, tired, or pushed out of my comfort zone. Every time we saw a sailboat crossing, I imagined living on that boat. At some point, we just said: what if we stop watching… and actually go?
So here I am – ready to learn sailing and join a crew. I love to cook and we’re always happy to prepare dinner parties for our fellow vanlifers – and hopefully future crewmates. I’m a good listener, always have good energy and look forward to taking on responsibility.
We’ll still be studying remotely for the next 2–3 years, which gives us a once-in-a-lifetime chance to travel the world slowly and meaningfully. Whether that leads to crewing across oceans or chasing our long-term dream – reaching New Zealand while finishing our degrees online.. I can’t wait to collect new stories, meet inspiring like-minded people, and see the world from a whole new perspective. ?⛵
