Looking for sailing experience and good times sailing with others
I'm working towards my Yachtmaster qualification for 2027 and want to build up sea miles, gain as much experience as possible, aboard different kinds of sailboats in a variety of conditions. I'd like to meet others who share a passion for sailing and learn from others with experience.
I got into sailing by reading about Chichester and Knox-Johnston when living in Greenwich. But as a kid I used to go out on my grandfather's yacht out of Tampa, FL. I've also done a good bit of dinghy sailing, on Rutland Water where I'm from, and more recently on Lake Wanaka in NZ.
I enjoy cooking, as well as a good conversation, fishing, adventures in the mountains, books. I've worked as a professional classical guitarist. I'm practical, tidy and well organised. Looking forward to getting back on the water! Cheers,

Super keen crew
Nick was excellent crew on my recent trip to Weymouth and back. He may not have the most experience yet but he makes up for that by being very keen to learn and isn't phased by anything you throw at him - he just gets on and does it. He has grand ambitions on where he wants his sailing to take him and I have no doubt that he will get there. The best recommendation a skipper can give is to say that I would gladly have him back as crew any time and hopefully will!
