Looking to join a Crew crossing from Europe to the Caribbeans ! Free in November
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew or Voluntary work.
I'm 26 and grew up in the Caribbeans (close to Sint Maarten) and had sailing classes, like all the kids there.
I spent my teenage and university years in Canada (Montreal) during eleven years, and now it's been two years I'm in France where I finished my studies, in between many adventures.
I graduated in environmental geography, and I am taking some time to off to take the time to join the Caribbeans by the sea. I had the chance to sail many times on the journey in the Caribbeans and went on a small adventure in the Bretagne's islands where we spent nights on board.
I am curious by the sailing world and would like to join the experience of the Atlantic crossing. Looking to join a crew (mixed or ideally a women's team), and help in any way possible (navigation, food, laughters, company, teaching French, card games etc) for the coming November - December 2025. My mom still lives in St Barts, and it would be lovely to join her for the holidays.
Beside the sea and human experience, I think important to travel without taking a plane and enjoy the time I have. I would be extraordinary if I can keep this decision.
A bit about me, I speak French and English, love nature, swimming, rolling in the sand, hiking and camping. I lived with roommates over the past ten years, so no community life. I love discussions, share a cup of coffee, listening to stories and share experiences and silly jokes.
I'm pretty easy going and relax, I plan one week, a month at a time in life and keep room for opportunities, to give you a big picture and know how to adjust when unplanned events occurs, I eat everything,
There is obviously a lot more to say, but I'll keep it there.
Let me know if you would like to exchange and get in touch. I'm presently in France and jump between trains.
I'm looking forward to meeting see lovers!
