Deckhand and Delivery crew ATLANTIC CROSSING
Italian crew member based between Italy and Portugal, currently building experience on sailing yachts with the long term goal of becoming a skipper.
I am looking for sailing opportunities, deliveries and mile building experiences, preferably paid positions as deckhand or crew.
From September I will be available and based in Sicily. I am also interested in possible embarkations or trial sailing periods with owners or crews planning an Atlantic crossing.
Comfortable assisting with:
• Docking, mooring and anchoring procedures
• Line handling and deck operations
• Washdowns, detailing and exterior maintenance
• Interior cleaning and housekeeping
• Basic technical and maintenance tasks onboard
I have experience working on private sailing and motor yachts and I enjoy practical work at sea. I am sociable, calm, easy to live with onboard. I enjoy reading, siwing and water sports, diving, I have no allergies, and I adapt well to small crew environments.
Languages: Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
