Don't want to fly - want to sail: from Canaries to Senegal
Looking for Sailing Opportunity – Family of 4 (2 Adults, 2 Kids, 9 & 11 years)
We are a sailing family looking to join a boat from Spain / Portugal to the Canary Islands then to Cape Verde, and onwards to Senegal. Partial trips are welcome too! Our goal is to travel without flying and continue our adventure after spending 2 months on our own catamaran (Wharram Tiki 38).
We are:
1 adult: RYA Day Skipper (Mediterranean & Zanzibar experience, 1800 nm this year)
1 adult: RYA Competent Crew + sailing in Med, France, Zanzibar, Australia
2 kids (9 & 11): motivated, helpful, and happy on board
Skills: night watches, navigation, engine/mechanics, medical training (emergency nurse), childcare, cooking
We’d love to join as a whole family, but can also split into 2 groups (1 adult + 1 child). We are open, fun, adventurous, and happy to contribute on board.
We speak English, German, Spanisch, French and some Italian...
