Experienced crew member in Canarias
Hello!
My name is Raphaël, I'm 30 years old, and I'm looking for opportunities to cross the Atlantic! ⛵️
I set sail from the south of France in early November on an Oceanis 46.1.
I had found a berth for the transatlantic crossing, but a corrosion problem on the rudder prevented the project from going ahead.
I also own a sailboat, a Dufour 35, which I bought in Menton in 2021 and am based in Arzal, Brittany. It's not exactly new (1973), and I maintain it myself. So I have some experience in DIY, fiberglass work, mechanics, and everything related to boat maintenance.
I often sail alone on my boat, sometimes at night, so I know how to take watches and maneuver the boat independently. I understand the responsibilities of boat ownership and the care it requires.
I'm a down-to-earth person, comfortable on a boat, very curious about everything related to sailing (and more), and above all, easy to get along with and ready to do any necessary tasks.
I'm open to any offer, except those that would require me to contribute €100 a day to the kitty ?
