Looking to get my sea legs

Hello! I'm Nicholas. I have handed a few times at my local regatta but otherwise have negligible experience. As a teacher, I have a predictable schedule, mostly for short cruises and day trips. I am looking for some short trips on weekends and school breaks to get experience sailing, make new connections, and enjoy the places that a boat can take you. I am Houston based, but I am happy to travel when the flights aren't too expensive.
