Experienced Offshore Crew Seeking Delivery & Adventure Passages
Hiya,
my name is Tuf (that's right–pronounced tough ?), a Swedish sailor, mathematician and adventurer currently based in Europe.
I love learning new things and meeting interesting people. Over the last few months I’ve basically lived only on boats. Only this year I cruised around the Virgin Islands for a month on a 38ft catamaran, then delivered a 47ft monohull from Annapolis down to USVI and then did another delivery of a 65ft catamaran crossing the Atlantic and mediterranean from the BVI all the way to Croatia. Along the way I’ve gained experience with offshore watchkeeping, sail handling, reefing, anchoring, docking, helming and all the day-to-day realities of life at sea.
What I bring to a boat is not only sailing skills but also energy, adaptability and a genuinely positive attitude. I get along with everyone, enjoy being part of a team and am often told that I’m easy to have aboard. I’m happy to help wherever needed, quick to learn and not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Before sailing I studied Engineering Mathematics at KTH in Stockholm, so I tend to approach problems analytically and stay calm when things become complicated.
