I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Friendship or Novice Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Since early January I’ve been travelling through South America (Brazil, Argentina) and I’m currently in Colombia. For the last part of my trip I’d love to join a sailboat and island-hop through the Caribbean: simple island life, real sailing, and being a helpful part of the crew.
I’m tidy, organised, positive, and quick to learn. I’m happy to support daily onboard routines: cooking, cleaning, watches, docking support, sail handling under instruction, dinghy runs, and general deckhand tasks. I’m social and empathetic, and I also respect personal space.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years’ experience as a surgical assistant. I’m calm under pressure, safety-minded, and comfortable with first aid and medical kit organisation. I’m also hands-on with basic DIY repairs and practical problem solving.
Available immediately, flexible on itinerary and duration, and happy to contribute to running costs. If you’re looking for someone reliable and easy to have on board, I’d love to hear from you.
