About Me: Reliable Skipper/Mate with a Technical Edge
Hi there! I’m a disciplined and enthusiastic sailor looking to join a crew as a Captain (for smaller vessels), 1st Mate, or for mile-building and delivery passages.
I’m currently building toward my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and have logged 500+ miles across the English Channel, Greece, and the Mediterranean. I’m just as comfortable in the tidal waters of the North as I am in the sun of the Med.
Why I’m a great addition to your crew:
I’m a "fixer" at heart. I have a high-level professional background and a deep interest in marine electronics and systems troubleshooting. I’m the person who’s happy to grab a multimeter and help keep the boat’s electrical systems running smoothly while we’re underway. I believe a good mate should be as handy with a toolkit as they are with a sail trim!
Qualifications:
RYA Day Skipper (Practical & Theory)
Italian Unlimited License (Sailing & Motor — no distance limits)
VHF Short Range Certificate (SRC)
STCW Training (Currently in progress)
RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities (January 2026)
What I’m looking for:
I’m eager to help with offshore deliveries (specifically North Sea and Mediterranean) and long-distance passages. Whether it’s a professional paid role or a voluntary mile-building trip, I bring a calm, "can-do" attitude and total reliability to every watch.
