Looking for a Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
Hello Captains!
I’m currently looking for an opportunity to join a crew as a Junior Deckhand or Deck/Stew. I’m highly motivated and excited to start my career at sea.
I’ve recently finished my first weeks of Daywork as a Deckhand on a S/Y, with tasks including: cleaning, polishing, painting, varnish removal, washdowns and working aloft.
I’ve spent the last 8 years working in luxury hospitality, where I developed a strong eye for detail, high standards of service, and the ability to anticipate guests needs.
I’ve grown up close to the sea and feel very comfortable in the water. A few years ago I started surfing and realised how much being in the ocean makes me feel at home. I’m a strong swimmer, physically fit, and enjoy active, hands-on work.
I love creating great experiences for people, and I’m excited about combining my hospitality background with my passion for the sea.
I have all my certificates up to date, including:
- STCW
- PB Level II
- ENG-1
- RYA Competent Crew
I’m currently based in Barcelona (just a 5-minute walk from Marina Port Vell) and I don't have any commitments on land holding me back from joining a crew and starting this new chapter.
I’m eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to give my best in both deck and interior roles. I would love the opportunity to grow within a crew and contribute with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
