Looking for a Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
Hello Captains!
I’m currently looking for my first opportunity to join a crew as a Junior Deckhand or Deck/Stew. I’m highly motivated and excited to start my career at sea.
I’ve spent the last 8 years working in luxury hospitality, where I developed a strong eye for detail, high standards of service, and the ability to anticipate guests needs.
I’ve grown up close to the sea and feel very comfortable in the water. A few years ago I started surfing and realised how much being in the ocean makes me feel at home. I’m a strong swimmer, physically fit, and enjoy active, hands-on work.
I love creating great experiences for people, and I’m excited about combining my hospitality background with my passion for the sea.
I’ve spent the past year focusing in my future Maritime career: completing my qualifications, learning as much as I can about life onboard, and taking my RYA Competent Crew course, where I spent 5 days at sea practicing the main duties of a Deckhand.
I’m currently based in Barcelona (just a 5-minute walk from Marina Port Vell) and I don't have any commitments on land holding me back from joining a crew and starting this new chapter.
I’m eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to give my best in both deck and interior roles. I would love the opportunity to grow within a crew and contribute with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
